INDUSTRIES |
Article
19.1 : Every
citizen of India will be free to make any home scale industry anywhere in
India. No any Government can impose any restrictions on home scale cottage
industries and no any Government can impose any tax on such home scale
industries. Article
19.2 : All
agro processing activities for crushing oilseeds, cotton ginning, rice
milling, cotton spinning, cloth weaving etc will be through cottage
industries only. No person or company or partnership firm can do this
business on bigger scale than cottage industries. Article
19.3 : Any
item or commodity which can be manufactured at cottage scale can not be
manufactured at bigger than cottage scale. Article
19.4 : Any
item or commodity which can not be manufactured at cottage scale but which
can be manufactured at village level small scale industry can not be
manufactured at bigger than village level small scale industries. Sugar
industry, cement industry, lime industry etc. will fall in such category. Article
19.5 : Any
item or commodity which can not be manufactured at village level small
scale industry can be established by associations of cooperative societies
of villages, taluka etc. Article
19.6 : Any
item or commodity which can be manufactured by Indian people can not be
manufactured with the collaboration of any foreign company. Article
19.7 : Any
item or commodity which can be manufactured by any cooperative society of
Indian people can not be manufactured by any limited company. Article
19.8 : Any
item or commodity which can be manufactured by Indian people or can be
manufactured by Indian people with foreign technical collaboration can not
be imported. Article
19.9 : As
far as possible, no central Government or State Government or Distict
Government will manufacture any commodity.
