CHAPTER 23 : AMENDMENT OF THE CONSTITUTION |

23.1 : Amendment
of the constitution can be proposed by any district panchayat, any state
or union. Article
23.2 : Any
amendment proposed by district state or union (i) has to be passed by the
lok sabha with atleast 80% majority (ii) and the same bill has to be
passed by 80% majority by at least 75% of the vidhan sabhas of Bharat
(iii) and same bill has to be passed by 80% majority by at least 60% of
the jilla panchayats of Bharat. After fulfillment of this condition,
amendment in constitution will be valid and effective. |
